MONSTER JAMMEH ON A SUICIDE MISSION

Some Gambians advocate for a peaceful resolution to our current political impasse orchestrated by Satanic Jammeh through negotiation. Very ideal. Conversely, Jammeh has stifled any venue for a reasonable and peaceful negotiation. For him, his decision to annul the December 1st election result and going back to a fresh poll under a new IEC administration led by Carryol is the only way out. Anything short of his terms is a non starter. He snubbed all pleas for him to step down. Now he is branding ECOWAS as “illegally meddling in the internal affairs of a sovereign member state”. Firstly, let me please indulge your patience to expose his hypocrisy. Alright, let me for the purpose of defending my position agree with him that ECOWAS is meddling with the internal affairs of a member state thus rendering their noble course unlawful.

Now let me return home. The Gambian constitution has categorically stipulated that the terms of office of the incumbent expires 60 days from the day the results are announced. It went further to explain in the event of a dispute over suspicion of fraud or normality, a petition must be submitted at the Supreme Court within 10 days of the announcement of the results. It added, the president-elect must be sworn in the day the incumbent’s term expires. Jammeh’s term expires on the 18th of January 2017 completing a full circle of his five year term in office from 2011 when he was sworn in. This means even if we were to go for a fresh elections to satisfy his bruised ego, he still has to hand over power to the president-elect. Failure of which constitutes a breach of the constitution and making him and his government unlawful. Thus, sitting him on the same sofa he sat the ECOWAS. Furthermore, apart from lack of judges for the Supreme Court which was dysfunctional for a whole year, the petition failed to meet its constitutional requirement of within 10 days from day of the results announcement. Similarly, he instructed the army to unlawfully invade the IEC office for days and God knows what they have done there during their occupation of the office. Any reasonable mind will conclude that they have tampered with viable evidence and planted doctored ones to serve his interest. In a nutshell, everything indicates Jammeh is not only unlawfully forcing himself on us but taking us for granted believing there will be no consequence for his action.

For how long shall Jammeh continue to impose his will on us without consequence? Jammeh Killed Koro Ceesay, Dayda Hydara, Solo Sandeng, 9 death row inmates and armless students and nothing came out of it. He arrests, imprisons, bannishes Gambians at will and nothing comes out of it. And now he wants to subvert the will of the Gambian people and we are admonished not to fan the flames of war when he is tuning the drums of war. Interesting, isn’t it fellas? Jammeh is not defending our sovereignty but his own selfish interest. If it means my entire family dying for Jammeh to go so be it. Jammeh has left us with no option but an external military intervention. Perhaps, it will not be as bloody as many anticipate. For instance, if ECOWAS with the assistance of UN, US and EU send two drones, one targeting State House and the other Kanilai. Each dropping a bomb simultaneously, who will the GNA be fighting against? I can unembelishly assert nobody will tell the survivors to run for their sorry lives. Jammeh like Saddam and Ghadfi will be excavated from a hole shaking like a deremo. Where Pakistan which is mightier than the Gambia in military weapons, intelligence and experience could not withstand American drones, how can Gambian boys scouts dressed as soldiers do?

The whole world cannot be wrong and only Jammeh remains right. Therefore, to avert external military intervention, Jammeh must succumb to the will of the Gambian people. In fact we don’t want him anywhere near the Gambia. Whether he shits himself with obnoxious tantrums and continues issuing chilling but preposterous threats, he has until 17th January 2017 to either avert military intervention or get his unapologetic smelly backside smoked by a drone. Yahya Jammeh knows what I am saying. Perhaps, may be that will ease his pain of languishing in jail and knowing some young fellow is nestling in the warm flesh of his gold digger wife. Seriously speaking Zeinab wants him death so that she can go and enjoy her life and new found freedom with a young, handsome and romantic fella to fill the void in her heart.

As a consequent we will be generous by granting him the honour of dying disgracefully unless he cowardly gives up in the last minute to safe his indescribable face but he will never again impose his will on us even if it means each and everyone of us dying. Jammeh is selfish, manipulative, arrogant and evil. Whose action and intent is unlawful, ECOWAS helping to implement the will of the Gambian people or Jammeh imposing his own selfish interest on the Gambian people? You decide.
